# On Quantum Teleportation
It is a very interesting concept and a bit different than the classical understanding of teleportation and has to do a bit more with how quantum networks can communicate with quantum teleportation. One of the very first circuits that I tested on IBM's quantum computer is the quantum teleportation circuit.

Here are some cool news about quantum teleportation to collect here:
[Teleportation in quantum edge networks ](https://www.spiedigitallibrary.org/conference-proceedings-of-spie/PC12238/PC122380G/Teleportation-in-quantum-edge-networks/10.1117/12.2632228.full?SSO=1&tab=ArticleLink)(with a video!)
_Quantum teleportation_ is a technique for transferring quantum information from a sender at one location to a receiver some distance away.
Bell state measurement is the crucial step in [quantum teleportation](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_teleportation "Quantum teleportation"). The result of a Bell state measurement is used by one's co-conspirator to reconstruct the original state of a teleported particle from half of an entangled pair (the "quantum channel") that was previously shared between the two ends.
- 1997, Nature paper in which quantum teleportation was [experimentally](https://www.nature.com/articles/37539) demonstrated with photons
- Teleportation has to do with concepts of entanglement, Bell State pairs, Quantum Internet, and the field of quantum networking
