# On Quantum Teleportation

It is a very interesting concept and a bit different than the classical understanding of teleportation and has to do a bit more with how quantum networks can communicate with quantum teleportation. One of the very first circuits that I tested on IBM's quantum computer is the quantum teleportation circuit.

_Quantum teleportation_ is a technique for transferring quantum information from a sender at one location to a receiver some distance away.

Bell state measurement is the crucial step in [quantum teleportation](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_teleportation "Quantum teleportation"). The result of a Bell state measurement is used by one's co-conspirator to reconstruct the original state of a teleported particle from half of an entangled pair (the "quantum channel") that was previously shared between the two ends.
