I am an enthusiastic contributor to open source developer projects and currently work part-time with Manhattan Youth after-school program teaching Web Design, 3D printing, & Digital Art to middle schoolers! My first job was as a Digital Technician at the University of Connecticut Special Collections department & I loved it. Then I was an IT Specialist at the headquarters in Connecticut working full time and went on to complete my Master's program in Computer Science at NYIT where I worked at the Academic computing lab and also joined local organizations nearby.. From 2020-2022 (stepped down in 2023) I was the elected Director of Hack Manhattan for 2 years & have been heavily involved with the wiki for our non-profit organization as well. I am seeking a new role that where my skillsets could best be served upon completing my Master’s in computer science.

I have been a part of the 501c(3) nonprofit Hack Manhattan for 4 years where I was elected as Director for two of them. A few years ago, before the pandemic in 2019, I stumbled upon a fantastic presentation given by the Wikimedia folks back at the previous location on 14th street! Then the pandemic happened and third Wednesdays, when the Wikimedia Days are happening, are usually the Fixer's Collective Days where I go to the space to help out there. Since then though, my interest has been pretty high with helping out with the Wikimedia events in whichever capacity, usually locally or just those who have questions that I am around.
