This printer will only print .cube files. Therefore installing the CubeX software is **required** for printing on this 3D printer. ![[Pasted image 20240507155635.png]] # Cube Software First things first, in order to print to the Cube 3D printer, we have to first send our .stl file to the Cube Software. Legacy software found [here](https://web.archive.org/web/20161003000816mp_/http://www.3dsystems.com/shop/support/cube2/downloads). Once installed, it looks like this: ![[Pasted image 20240507162753.png]] ### 1. Set up Wifi 1. Click Setup on the touchpad 2. Press "Next" on the right hand triangle of the touchpad until you "Wifi Setup" 3. Press "Wifi Setup" 4. Press AdHoc & "Ad-Hoc Mode enabled" will appear along with the the wifi name of the Cube printer, typically "Cube-a1983" or of that combination and it's IP address. 5. On your PC, select the wifi that is on the Cube printer to connect to that printer. 6. Click Configure in the bottom corner of the screen 7. Under "Cubes currently on LAN or wifi" the wifi network name of the printer should come up. 8. Select this name and press "connect" Load the .stl file by clicking the "import" button at the top screen. Go through the heal, orient & scale, center options accordingly as needed. Finally, click Build. This will convert your .stl to the .cube file. An estimated time to print should also pop up once converted. ![[Pasted image 20240507163413.png]] 5.
