Notes:

Well it turns out that I wasn't scheduled for this day of the conference anyways. Which is fine because cryptography I've realizd is not exactly the main industry that I am too thrilled about innovating in regardless.

We get it. People have secrets and want to keep it that way. But the fight for governments to keep their information private while having full jurisdiction to intrude upon the information of others at will is pretty strange to me. Yes profitable obviously, but strange.

In other news, it turns out a public safety officer decided to tell Columbia's radio show to leave due to the recent protests.

I also updated myself on all my messages and checked back in with Aaliyah of IBM to better coordinate in New York City and also learned about the University of Edinburgh's opportunities which I completely missed out on because I was too late in responding to Andrew's emails. This goes to show, I really don't have moments to waste -- I snooze I lose!

Apparently also this is where Peter Higgs, yes the Peter Higgs of the Higgs Boson, also went to school here and made the discovery here, and recently just passed away.

Anyways at least I learned about the Quantum Software Lab - a research center expanding in Edinburgh University's expertise in QC that collaboratd with the National Quantum Computing Centre.

Also I set up a meeting with Aaliyah Fowler of IBM to meet Friday at 1 pm.

While I didn't get to go into Day 1, I ended up just practicing my programming skills instead.
